The Agribusiness Study Program, Faculty of Agriculture, Udayana University, Successfully Holds a Regular Scientific Seminar on Village Development and Local Economic Development

On Friday, April 24, 2026, the Agribusiness Study Program's Routine Scientific Seminar, Faculty of Agriculture, Udayana University, was held in the Faculty of Agriculture Senate Meeting Room, 2nd Floor of the Agrocomplex Building, Sudirman Campus. This is a routine seminar held by the Agribusiness Study Program, Faculty of Agriculture, Udayana University, and organized by the Community Development Laboratory of the Agribusiness Study Program.

The event was opened by the Coordinator of the Undergraduate Agribusiness Study Program, Dr. Ni Luh Prima Kemala Dewi, S.P., M.Agb. The event was attended by lecturers from the Agribusiness Study Program, undergraduate Agribusiness students, Master of Agribusiness students, and Doctoral students from the Agricultural Science Study Program. The event invited Dr. I Dewa Made Darma Setiawan, a Community Extension Expert from the Ministry of Villages, Disadvantaged Regions, and Transmigration (Kemendesa PDT), as a resource person. In addition to presenting material, he also shared his extensive experience as a Community Extension Worker specializing in Village Development and BUMDES (Village-Owned Enterprises). Furthermore, this activity was moderated by Dr. I Gede Setiawan Adi Putra, M.Sc., a lecturer in the Agribusiness Study Program at the Faculty of Agriculture, Udayana University. He also has extensive experience in agricultural extension.

Dr. Prima hopes that this scientific seminar, themed "Village Development and Local Economic Development," will enliven the academic atmosphere on campus by examining current societal phenomena.
